Community Conversations

CSG brings community members together to learn about climate issues and discuss local solutions through events such as workshops, panels, movie screenings, Green Drinks, field trips, webinars, radio interviews and symposiums.  CSG engages local leaders and promotes youth involvement through these events. Along with outreach to increase awareness about the impacts of climate change, these events provide an opportunity for citizens to voice their concerns and connect with others in the community to build a climate movement in the region.

• KGEZ Radio Interviews (Monthly).
• Web page blog posts & updates. 
• E-Newsletter distribution (Two newsletters). 
• Hosted list-serve & brown bag lunches for Northwest Montana Climate Network.
• Earth Day exhibitor & Earth Month Calendar.

 

2026 Projects

• Organize at least four community solution-focused public events or webinars, and to promote community dialogue about climate-related risks and solutions.
• Increase number of newsletters to quarterly updates.
• Continue KGEZ Radio Interviews. 
• Sponsor prize for Student projects. 
• Outreach to High School conservation clubs for potential joint efforts.
