She will be biking about 70 miles from Everett, WA, to Anacortes, WA to go to a marine science lab for two weeks in mid-September.
“It is very clear that there are a host of issues affecting the health of our planet and economy,” Annika says. “Right now, it is more important than ever to work toward a sustainable future. A great way that you can help do something meaningful and concrete is to support my fundraising for my Independent Challenge. I’m training and raising awareness through my event in order to support sustainable solutions and active transportation. This is a chance to raise funds for non-profit organizations that I really believe in, organizations making a difference by promoting renewable energy, bicycle transportation and fighting climate change.”
