Flathead County Celebrates Earth Day!

On the official Earth Day, April 22nd,  Flathead Valley Community College is hosting an Earth Day Celebration starting with tables and displays at 10:15 pm and including lectures and a movie screening throughout the day.  Climate Smart will be providing refreshments and handing out Made-in-Montana coasters and Earth Day coloring books at the event.   See the FVCC event calendar on the web site for more details. https://www.fvcc.edu/event/earth-day-celebration/

The City of Whitefish has organized  a walk/bike to work day on April 22nd from 7:00 am to 9:00 am.    Ride or walk to work and get a free cup of coffee and fruit at stations located at the O’Shaughnessy Center and Logan Health-Whitefish.   Glacier Cyclery will be on hand to do basic tune-ups and all participants can enter a free Earth Day raffle.   Climate Smart is donating gift cards to local eateries for the give-away.
